SXR 800 R&D AQUAVEIN INTAKE GRATE 111-80000 The new R&D Kawasaki SXR 800 Aquavein is available. Tested and developed with Kawasaki Racing to Offer maximum hook-up through its dual wing design. The patented wing design and extra deep channel rails eliminate cavitation and allow for quicker acceleration with improved speed and handling. The R&D SXR 800 Aquavein is designed to be used with the R&D SXR 800 Ride Plate pt. # 121-80000. The rear of the Aquavein is 1/4" longer than the stock scoop grate. This is to add strength to the rear mounting surface. If you are using any other ride plate you will need to cut the front tongue of the ride plate off approximately 1/4" so the ride plate will bump up to the rear of the R&D Aquavein and install to its OEM bolt hole location. The new R&D SXR 800 Pro Series Ride Plate has a lower plaining surface, improved rear contour shape and an optional bottom hole pattern that can be utilized along with the existing rectangular slot for added traction. This plate delivers the best handling performance on the market, with reduced porpoising, increased high speed stability, improved traction and cornering.
